So what is 'Mantrailing'?

Mantrailing is a scent-based Dog sport, training dogs to find people by following their unique scent trail.... Did you know that as we walk and go about our day to day lives, about 40,000 to 50,000 scent particles fall off us per minute!

All dog's have a natural ability to hunt and therefore Mantrailing provides them with an outlet to do this in a safe, controlled and constructive way. Their nose really dominates their sensory world and focuses a large part of their brain on the task, blocking out other distractions. Simply put, a dog can't be unhappy and nervous when sniffing, their brains are biologically wired to be happy when sniffing and switch off the stress!

In Mantrailing, We teach them how to harness that amazing sense of smell and turn it into a fun activity for you to do together as a sport.

It's is a great sport to build confidence and focus with any dog as it gives them an outlet and a job to perform. So release your dog's inner bloodhound and come and give this amazing sport a go.

One of the many amazing things about this sport is it is fully accessible to all people and dogs, regardless of age, breed or disability.  Dogs are always worked one at a time and we train in both public and private venues.
